Chef Christopher Kulis

Chef Christopher Kulis brings a disciplined focus on technique and extraordinary standards of quality to the kitchens of both Capische and Il Teatro.  A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Kulis joined our team after a successful tenure as sous chef at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon in Yountville, California.  His culinary career has taken him across the United States and Europe. Our guests are treated to the results of this diverse and exhilarating culinary journey when they enjoy the masterful creations he offers.

 

With his enthusiasm for continual learning and world travel, Chef Kulis is comfortable in global food customs and is a clever authority on cuisine with an exceptional flavor profile.  Although passionate about fundamentals and holding a deep respect for the highest quality ingredients, it is his creativity, intuition and originality as a culinary craftsman that are the secrets to his success.  A charismatic leader in the kitchen, Chef Chris’ quiet demeanor belies his refined talents and awesome skills
